Welcome to the COPA entry page. Good Luck! The cost is $75 per entry and the early bird is $50. All independent/ethnic publishers, non-profits, freelancers and influencers pay only $50. Schools get one free entry plus two student influencers entries and each company can enter in two categories for free (maximum 2 entries per brand).
All entries must have been produced in the period of September 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024 to be eligible and meet Canadian content requirements. Please enclose one completed entry form for each entry. For full contest rules and eligibility click here.
Entry deadline: Monday, September 30, 2024 midnight PST.

- Live active links to stories or pieces being judged, as required for each entry.

Student Division Entries - Two Free Entries per school
Any (public or private) high school or post-secondary institution in Canada can submit ywo student projects for no cost in the Students/Schools Division . Additional entries can be submitted for $50 at the non-profit rate. Please enter promo code – free, when submitting the free entry.
Free Entry Categories
There will have two categories that any publisher can enter for free (maximum of 2 per brand). This will be the Best Feel Good Story and Best Multi-Cultural Story. This will allows companies to participate that would not normally enter an awards program to expand the reach of the COPA Awards program. Please enter promo code – free, when submitting the free entry. Please do this separate from any paid entries.
Special discount for Independent/ethnic publishers, non-profit organizations, freelancers and influeners.
This group are eligible to enter at the early bird discount rate of $50 at any time. They must check the "Independent Publisher/Ethnic Media/Non-profit/Freelancer/Influencer" checkbox to get the special rate. All independent publishers will be verified by COPA staff to meet the 20 employee requirements upon registration.
